Doug and Lori are passionate about marriage and making celebrations timeless and memorable. They have been married for over 36 years and have been looking for a way to use their gifts and passions to be a blessing to others and bring people together to make special memories.
Doug has been in the food service and hospitality industry for 35 years, and has enjoyed being a motivational speaker and event facilitator. He loves making people laugh and helps them find the positive outlook in every situation. He is definitely a glass-half-full kind of guy.
Lori is an amazing photographer and her super power is freezing time. She has a way of making everyone she meets feel valued, heard, and truly appreciated and she has a way of capturing the joy and essence of the couples and families she photographs.
As they were looking for their next adventure together, Doug and Lori walked on this incredible densely forested 10-acre property, and when they saw what it had to offer (a beautiful log home, outbuildings that fit the country vibe, meandering trails, and garden areas) they knew they were home. They have personally renovated the interior and exterior of the log home to make it glow with the warmth of unconditional love and joy that comes from a desire to serve others from the heart.
